Actually, the patch in the issue *does* (half-)work. Matej, you did also change the command in /etc/kde3/oooqsrc to /usr/bin/ooffice instead of /usr/bin/openoffice, didn't you? :) Anyway, after doing those two changes oooqs starts, works as expected but doesn't really close the OOo instance it started after you close it and answer the question with "Yes"...
