Package: apertium-en-es
Version: 0.6.0-1.1+b1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Sending any string into apertium gives me a segmentation fault

0 dkg@alice:~/tmp$ echo 'This is a test' | apertium en-es
Segmentation fault
0 dkg@alice:~/tmp$

this happens for any en-es or es-en invocation.

It's interesting that the return code is 0 also -- apparently, the
crash is within /usr/bin/apertium-transfer, which is invoked as one
element in a pipeline in /usr/share/apertium/modes/en-es.mode, which
is invoked under /bin/sh, so its error code doesn't propagate out to
the outer shell (/bin/sh doesn't have set -o pipefail).

    --dkg
