Package: gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg Version: 0.10.13-5 Severity: grave Hi,
it seems that gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg cannot be installed in unstable (let alone testing). Are there any plans to fix this? I'm currently trying to update the "miro" package to the latest upstream but since miro depends on gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg I probably won't be able to make a useful upload. I've seen there's a gstreamer1.0-libav package, but that would probably require all of miro to be ported to the gstreamer1.0 API, right? Not sure whether that's easily doable with a small patch, sounds like a bigger effort to me (though I could be wrong). Hence, it would be nice if there were a working gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg package in unstable/testing so that e.g. miro is still usable until a gstreamer1.0 porting has happened. Thanks for considering. -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.16-3-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg depends on: ii libavcodec53 6:0.8.8-1 ii libavformat53 6:0.8.8-1 ii libavutil51 6:0.8.8-1 ii libc6 2.19-12 ii libglib2.0-0 2.42.0-2 ii libgstreamer-plugins-base0.10-0 0.10.36-2 ii libgstreamer0.10-0 0.10.36-1.4 ii liborc-0.4-0 1:0.4.22-1 ii libpostproc52 6:0.git20120821-4 ii libswscale2 6:10.3-1 gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg recommends no packages. gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- http://hermann-uwe.de | http://randomprojects.org | http://sigrok.org -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-rc-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
