Package: libjpeg-dev
Version: 1:1.3.1-9
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

[ odyx@ and debian-wb-team@ x-d-cc, please keep them in the loop? ]

Hi,

spotted by Didier, looking at cups build attempts:
| The following packages have unmet dependencies:
| sbuild-build-depends-cups-dummy : Depends: libjpeg-dev
| Depends: libtiff-dev
| E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

tiff didn't change, but libtiff5-dev (providing libtiff-dev) depends on
libjpeg-dev, so there's probably a single issue at play here. Since
libjpeg-turbo was installed a few minutes before that, let's check…

Trying to install libjpeg-dev from buildd-unstable:
| $ sudo apt-get install libjpeg-dev=1:1.3.1-9 libjpeg62-turbo-dev=1:1.3.1-9
libjpeg62-turbo=1:1.3.1-9
[…]
| Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
| requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
| distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
| or been moved out of Incoming.
| The following information may help to resolve the situation:
|
| The following packages have unmet dependencies:
| libjpeg-dev : Conflicts: libjpeg62-dev

Checking:
| Package: libjpeg-dev
| Depends: libjpeg62-turbo-dev (>= 1:1.3.1-9)
| Conflicts: libjpeg62-dev, libjpeg7-dev, libjpeg8-dev, libjpeg9-dev
+
| Package: libjpeg62-turbo-dev
| Provides: libjpeg-dev, libjpeg62-dev
= can't work.

I guess the "Drop dummy transitional libjpeg62{,-dev,-dbg} packages"
part didn't go particularly well.

Mraw,
KiBi.
