Robocode fails to start when OpenJDK 7 or a newer version is installed on the system. Since OpenJDK7 is the default Java runtime environment for Jessie and OpenJDK6 is going to be removed, this issue is release critical. The error message is: E: Cannot find JRE, exiting.. This is caused by an obsolete detection of Java runtime environments in the robocode wrapper script. I intend to adopt Robocode for the Java team and will prepare a fix for this issue soonish.
