Hi. I have the same issue after upgrade.
I access to my system with a rescue. Try dpkg-reconfigure grub-pc and found all my images. After that, i try to install grub with: # grub-install /dev/sda And I get this error: Grub-install: error: cannot copy `/usr/share/locale/sv.gmo' to `/boot/grub/locale/sv.mo': is a directory. And finish without install.
