Removal of the apt tool from openjdk makes it impossible to build lwjgl and jruby. I think it's desirable to be able to include these packages. java apt is deprecated but still available in openjdk 7. It will be removed in openjdk 8, so these issues will come back later, but there will be more time during jessie+1 to deal with that. Thank you for considering restoring that functionality.
