I'm not able to build the old version because of #764580 but since script has no external dependencies just reverting the changes in term-utils/script.c should be enough: git diff v2.20.1..v2.25.1 term-utils/script.c | patch -p1 -R Building this does not result in any behavioural change for me. I also tried installing bsdutils 2.20.1-5.11 and saw no change in behaviour there either. That there are bugs in script is no news (see other bug reports) and, partially because of that and partially because of being unreproducible and partially because script by itself doesn't make bsdutils unusable, I'm setting the severity to be in line with the rest.
