We expect the maintainer to atleast test his build before upload! If one closes the main window via clicking the 'x' button on the window or by Ctrl-W, the windows disappears but firefox binary keeps running in the background. After killing the binary (with killall -9 firefox-bin), firefox can be starts but displays the clear private data message box. If you select "clear data" button, the browser starts. Bookmarks on the toolbar, as well as in the menu are useless; after clicking on any one of them the browsers does not load the webpage. -Rajesh -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.14-2-k7 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages mozilla-firefox depends on: ii firefox 1.5.dfsg-3 lightweight web browser based on M mozilla-firefox recommends no packages. -- no debconf information --------------------------------------- Received: (at 344869-close) by bugs.debian.org; 27 Dec 2005 11:28:15 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Dec 27 03:28:15 2005 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from mail.vif.com ([216.239.64.153] helo=buddha.vif.com) by spohr.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 4.50) id 1ErD03-0007yZ-2S for [EMAIL PROTECTED]; Tue, 27 Dec 2005 03:28:15 -0800 Received: from [216.239.73.17] (ip216-239-73-17.vif.net [216.239.73.17]) by buddha.vif.com (8.13.1/8.13.1) with ESMTP id jBRBSBZB039161 for <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; Tue, 27 Dec 2005 06:28:11 -0500 (EST) (envelope-from [EMAIL PROTECTED]) Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Tue, 27 Dec 2005 06:28:32 -0500 From: Filipus Klutiero <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> User-Agent: Mozilla Thunderbird 1.0.2 (X11/20051002) X-Accept-Language: fr, en MIME-Version: 1.0 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Invalid Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit X-vif-MailScanner-Information: Please contact the ISP for more information X-vif-MailScanner: Found to be clean X-vif-MailScanner-From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60-bugs.debian.org_2005_01_02 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on spohr.debian.org X-Spam-Level: X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-2.0 required=4.0 tests=BAYES_00,ONEWORD autolearn=no version=2.60-bugs.debian.org_2005_01_02 Closing per submitter's request. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
