Well, the problem was that the App didn't load correctly because I missed the WSGI script refactoring introduced in Django 1.4. So indeed, the old package was broken in that way. But so far, the package worked anyway. It was not before Django 1.7 that this actually caused issues. Anyway, I uploaded fixed packages. Since Django 1.7 migrated to jessie already, I didn't think raising the urgency would really do anything, so I left it to "medium". Sorry again for the delay.
