Package: apt-listchanges Version: 2.85.13 Severity: serious apt-listchanges now depends on dpkg-dev. As dpkg-dev has lower priority, that's a technical violation of policy but not one we need to care *that* much about (and priorities are really set by the FTP team).
However, dpkg-dev recommends build-essential. The result is that dist-upgrading a default installation of wheezy to jessie will install build-essential, which is definitely not desirable. Please find a solution to #733825 that doesn't require dpkg-architecture. Or, perhaps you could request that dpkg-architecture is moved to dpkg.
