That sounds pretty much like in the Debian source package. But please hold on for a moment and give me, or another maintainer, time to look at the issue and why it happened. I'm sorry that I broke it but LyX in Debian is still lacking an active maintainer. So this upload was indeed untested and not very carefuly prepared as you might have noticed.
