Hi Joerg, I am sorry about this bug. In Debian wine-unstable has been removed and it has been replaced by wine-development. As a result I am not able to reproduce the bug.
The relevant portion of code is [0]. As you can see it executes "which wine". It takes the output and tests for the file being executable and being a file. If either is false, it outputs the error message that you got. So what is the output of "which wine"?
