Package: libapache2-mod-scgi Version: 1.13-1 Severity: grave
There has been a new version of this package since July 2009, version 1.14, which my site believes has a fix for a grave bug.
My site switched from Debian-packages 1.13 to compiling 1.14 upstream manually a few years ago, since 1.14 appeared to fix a server stability problem that we were encountering. SCGI was unusable for servers without this fix.
We assumed that Debian (and Ubuntu) would pick up 1.14, but that hasn't happened.
There might now be new urgency to bringing 1.14 into Debian: bit rot. I heard that 1.14 no longer compiles out of the box on some later Debian version than I'm using.
