Package: libjpeg-turbo-progs Version: 1:1.3.1-1 Severity: serious Justification: file conflict
Dear Maintainer, trying to install the libjpeg-turbo-progs from experimental fails if libjpeg-progs is still installed: Preparing to unpack .../libjpeg-turbo-progs_1%3a1.3.1-1_amd64.deb ... Unpacking libjpeg-turbo-progs (1:1.3.1-1) ... dpkg: error processing archive /var/cache/apt/archives/libjpeg-turbo-progs_1%3a1.3.1-1_amd64.deb (--unpack): trying to overwrite '/usr/bin/wrjpgcom', which is also in package libjpeg-progs 8d1-1 dpkg-deb: error: subprocess paste was killed by signal (Broken pipe) There is a libjpeg-progs transitional package built from the same source package as libjpeg-turbo-progs, but it seems to miss a Breaks header. Additionally the Replaces header has a not strict enough version attached. Instead of Replaces: libjpeg-progs (<< 8c-2ubuntu5) it should be at least Replaces: libjpeg-progs (<= 8d1-1) -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable'), (600, 'testing'), (110, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.15-trunk-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=C.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=C.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-rc-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
