For those interested: I had a look at the rawstudio svn, there is even a 2.1 release tagged, but no tarball published. Reason for that might be that the tarball generation is broken :) There are also various other bugs which make the build fail compltely.
As there are working and good alternatives, I'm not willing to spent the time into fixing upstream code.
