fsck says "***** FILE SYSTEM WAS MODIFIED *****" but in fact, when it says it, the truth is "***** FILE SYSTEM IS BEING MODIFIED *****" and the user had better not be deceived otherwise and start pulling on his disks... Or else they will get scrambled. grave -- causes data loss So kindly move that message to the very last part of the program - just before exit. Else he will believe you and scramble his disks!
