Package: systemd-sysv Version: 208-6 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
Since gnome and its dependent packages depends now on systemd-sysv there is no way to have a full gnome installation without systemd-sysv. The package systemd-sysv is heavily conflicting with wpasupplicant and possibly ifupdown since when trying to setup a WPA2 wireless network the following error message appears: root@host:~# ifup wlan0=mynetwork wpa_supplicant: /sbin/wpa_supplicant daemon failed to start run-parts: /etc/network/if-pre-up.d/wpasupplicant exited with return code 1 Failed to bring up mynetwork. I have tried installing stable versions of systemd-sysv and/or wpasupplicant and/or ifupdown without success. The only way to fix things is to install back sysvinit-core, which removes quite a few gnome packages and so gnome becomes unsuable.
