Package: octaviz
Version: 0.4.0-10
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Hi,

It is not possible to run any of the octaviz demos as they all produce
the error :

octave:1> pwd
/usr/share/doc/octaviz/examples
octave:2> vtk_demo
error: liboctaviz.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or
directory
error: called from `vtk_demo' in file
`/usr/share/doc/octaviz/examples/vtk_demo.m'
octave:2>

This occurs even though /usr/lib/octave-2.1.67/liboctaviz.so exists.

In order to fix this a symlink

/usr/lib/liboctaviz.so -> /usr/lib/octave-2.1.67/liboctaviz.so

needs to be created.

regards
b thomas
