control: reassign -1 binutils 2.24.51.20140604-3 control: retitle -1 crashes were introduced in the recent binutils snapshot.
I have tried using combinations of gcc-4.9 4.9.0-6, gcc-4.8 4.8.3-3, binutils 2.24.51.20140604-3 and 2.24.51.20140425-1 to build the default target (debian/build-default) of the libguestfs package on sid/amd64. ld.bfd from binutils 2.24.51.20140604-3 crashed, regardless of the compiler. ld.bfd from binutils 2.24.51.20140425-1 worked fine to build everything. This looks like a strong indicator that there's something seriously wrong with ld.bfd from the current binutils package.
