Dear Maintainer, Upgrading debain unstable to the latest packages, installing new debian provided kernel I did "apt-get update; apt-get upgrade; apt-get dist-upgrade". The kernel-modules for new debian kernel where not compiled and installed because of various errors. I'd expected kernel-modules for new debian kernel compiled and installed and loaded. -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.14-1-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages open-vm-tools depends on: ii libc6 2.18-6 ii libdumbnet1 1.12-4 ii libfuse2 2.9.3-10 ii libgcc1 1:4.9.0-3 ii libglib2.0-0 2.40.0-3 ii libicu52 52.1-3 ii libprocps3 1:3.3.9-4 ii libstdc++6 4.9.0-3 Versions of packages open-vm-tools recommends: ii ethtool 1:3.13-1 ii zerofree 1.0.3-1 Versions of packages open-vm-tools suggests: pn open-vm-tools-desktop <none> -- Configuration Files: /etc/vmware-tools/tools.conf changed: -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-rc-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
