Source: ruby-bacon Version: 1.2.0-3 Severity: serious Justification: fails to build from source User: debian-r...@lists.debian.org Usertags: ruby2.0-rm
Dear Maintainer, During a rebuild of ruby-related packages your package failed to build with these errors: =================================================================== Running tests for ruby2.1 using debian/ruby-tests.rb... debian/ruby-tests.rb:4:in `<main>': unhandled exception ERROR: Test "ruby2.1" failed. Exiting. dh_auto_install: dh_ruby --install /«PKGBUILDDIR»/debian/ruby-bacon returned exit code 1 make[1]: *** [override_dh_auto_install] Error 1 debian/rules:18: recipe for target 'override_dh_auto_install' failed make[1]: Leaving directory '/«PKGBUILDDIR»' make: *** [binary] Error 2 debian/rules:15: recipe for target 'binary' failed =================================================================== Please note that the default ruby recently has been switched to 2.1 in sid. If your package doesn't already do this, please switch to the ruby(-all)(-dev) metapackages and `dh_ruby --print-supported` for detecting the ruby to build for. (Also, if everything goes according to plan, this is the last ruby transition for jessie.) About the test rebuild: this build was done in a rather standard sbuild/schroot setup, on an amd64 host where PID1 is provided by systemd, and options passed to sbuild were: DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS=parallel=12 Please find the full build log attached. Thanks, -ch
