Hello,
When attempting to build autogen version from experimental, the build locks
in the
errors.test test.
From information supplied by Andreas, I have determined that the shell process
being run by autogen is trying to tell autogen to die with several kill signals.
It is not dying. It would be interesting to know exactly which platforms show
this problem. I saw an email of the issue on a Debian kfreebsd build. (What is
that? Is it Debian or FreeBSD?)
https://buildd.debian.org/fetch.cgi?pkg=autogen&arch=kfreebsd-i386&ver=1%3A5.18.3%7Epre34-1&stamp=1399469529&file=log
Anyway, the new die function will wait a full second and finally use kill -9,
if autogen hangs around through 3 kills (TERM, INT and HUP) and 3 seconds.
