Do keep in mind that the no-auto fstab parameter is unknown to systemd, you should use noauto or nofail for devices which shouldn't block the boot process.
Ok will replace no-auto with noauto and restart. BTW I created the /var/log/journald directory but apprently its a binary file. How can I see its content?
That indeed fixed the boot problem. I have an error message saying /bin/plymouth does not exist but it does not harm.
