Package: pyro4 Version: 4.23-1 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
Dear Maintainer, when installing the pyro4 package there won't be any actual pyro4 library files installed for python 2.7 I.e. dpkg-query -L pyro4 only lists a few things in /etc and /usr, and 'import Pyro4' will obviously fail under python (2.7) I noticed that the python3-pyro4 package was installed as a dependency (not sure why) and that one does include the proper library files. dpkg-query -L python3-pyro4 does indeed list the pyro4 library under /usr/lib/python3. I expected the pyro4 library files to be installed somewhere in /usr/lib/python2.7 I didn't expect the python3-pyro4 package to be installed as a dependency Regards Irmen de Jong -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers testing-updates APT policy: (500, 'testing-updates'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.13-1-686-pae (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages pyro4 depends on: ii python3-pyro4 4.23-1 pyro4 recommends no packages.
