Hi, I can confirm this problem on computer running testing (no this machine), which i updated today after very very long time:
lspci: ... 02:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation G73 [GeForce 7300 GT] (rev a1) After updating the nvidia driver, i encounter with problem. I applied patch (more precise i comment out the mentioned lines) as reported by Jose and rebuild module with reconfigure as reported by Stéphane. After this, the nvidia module is loaded as expected and all seems to be working now (thanks to both). regards -- Slavko http://slavino.sk
