I suspect this font is a modified version of Arial, at least the Latin alphabet in the font looks exactly like Arial. The font also contains the string "Arial", several mentions of Microsoft including a link to http://www.microsoft.com/truetype/ and a lot of Verisign certificate legalese, all further evidence that this is in fact Arial. I don't understand what the upstream is doing here. Looking at their CVS (file doc/source.txt), it seems they noticed the problem in 2003 and intended to replace the font with FreeSans, but their latest release still includes MD King KhummaRabi. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.11.7 Locale: LANG=nl_BE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=nl_BE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) --------------------------------------- Received: (at 321879-close) by bugs.debian.org; 7 Dec 2005 18:42:10 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Dec 07 10:42:10 2005 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from katie by spohr.debian.org with local (Exim 4.50) id 1Ek45I-00057Y-0g; Wed, 07 Dec 2005 10:32:08 -0800 From: =?utf-8?q?David_Mart=C3=ADnez_Moreno?= <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Katie: $Revision: 1.60 $ Subject: Bug#321879: fixed in glob2 0.8.16-1 Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sender: Archive Administrator <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Wed, 07 Dec 2005 10:32:08 -0800 X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60-bugs.debian.org_2005_01_02 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on spohr.debian.org X-Spam-Level: X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-4.0 required=4.0 tests=BAYES_20,HAS_BUG_NUMBER autolearn=no version=2.60-bugs.debian.org_2005_01_02 X-CrossAssassin-Score: 5 Source: glob2 Source-Version: 0.8.16-1 We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of glob2, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive: glob2_0.8.16-1.diff.gz to pool/main/g/glob2/glob2_0.8.16-1.diff.gz glob2_0.8.16-1.dsc to pool/main/g/glob2/glob2_0.8.16-1.dsc glob2_0.8.16-1_i386.deb to pool/main/g/glob2/glob2_0.8.16-1_i386.deb glob2_0.8.16.orig.tar.gz to pool/main/g/glob2/glob2_0.8.16.orig.tar.gz A summary of the changes between this version and the previous one is attached.
