Correction: mumble will work when built against protobuf 2.5.0-7 ; someone reported this to me and it took me a while but I was able to verify it -- apparently I had some complications with cowbuilder I didn't know I had. My apologies for being in error on this. Is there a way to get Debian's buildd's to rebuild the package? BTW I believe this is a situation where the ABI changed between protobuf 2.5.0-5 and -7 but the name (i.e. the number in the name) of the library should have changed to trigger the Debian buildd's to rebuild the package. At least that's the way I interpret the text in Debian Policy section 8.1. http://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-sharedlibs.html Thanks. -- Chris -- Chris Knadle chris.kna...@coredump.us -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-rc-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
