Okay, we've figured out that this is an issue with libprotobuf8. mumble 1.2.4-0.1 works with libprotobuf8 2.5.0-3 and -5, but not -6 or -7. Looks like the mumble package doesn't require rebuilding to fix this, just the protobuf package does. Robert should be able to fix this in the next couple of days.
