Package: quota
Version: 3.12-6
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

I cannot install quota support properly. I have quota support compiled
into the kernel:

CONFIG_QUOTA=y
# CONFIG_QFMT_V1 is not set
CONFIG_QFMT_V2=y
CONFIG_QUOTACTL=y

I'll go recompile the kernel with CONFIG_QFMT_V1 set, but the message I
get right now is (/tmp/disk-quota.ext3 is a file I created with an ext3
filesystem inside it, following a tutorial at
http://souptonuts.sourceforge.net/quota_tutorial.html):

mendel:~# mount -o loop,rw,usrquota,grpquota /tmp/disk-quota.ext3 quota

mendel:~# mount
rootfs on / type rootfs (rw)
/dev/root on / type ext3 (rw)
none on /dev type devfs (rw)
proc on /proc type proc (rw,nodiratime)
sysfs on /sys type sysfs (rw)
devpts on /dev/pts type devpts (rw)
tmpfs on /dev/shm type tmpfs (rw)
/dev/ide/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/part1 on /boot type ext3 (rw)
/dev/loop/1 on /root/quota type ext3 (rw)

mendel:~# quotaon /root/quota
quotaon: Mountpoint (or device) /root/quota not found.
