Package: seekwatcher
Version: 0.12+hg20091016-2
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Dear Maintainer,

I noticed upon installing 'seekwatcher' from my Jessie that it would not
work. Whatever I throw at it, simple --help, nothing, or complex
options, I get :

    $ sudo seekwatcher -t find.trace -o find.svg -p 'find /srv -xdev
>/dev/null' -d /dev/sda7
    Traceback (most recent call last):
      File "/usr/bin/seekwatcher", line 58, in <module>
        from seekwatcher import rundata
      File "numpy.pxd", line 43, in seekwatcher.rundata
(seekwatcher/rundata.c:7885)
    ValueError: numpy.dtype does not appear to be the correct type object

Since this package uses Cython, I supposed some generated C code was out
of date. I rebuilt the package locally :

    $ apt-get source seekwatcher
    $ sudo apt-get build-dep seekwatcher
    $ cd seekwatcher-*
    $ dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot -uc -us
    $ sudo dpkg -i ../*.deb

And then it just worked :

    $ sudo seekwatcher -t find.trace -o find.svg -p 'find /srv -xdev
>/dev/null' -d /dev/sda7
    Version 7.000kness 20eader in AFM: UnderlinePosition -133
    blktrace -d /dev/sda7 -o find.trace -D . -a queue -a complete -a issue
    running :find /srv -xdev >/dev/null:
    === sda7 ===
    CPU  0:               500167 events,    23446 KiB data
    CPU  1:               426206 events,    19979 KiB data
    Total: 926373 events (dropped 0), 43424 KiB data
    done running find /srv -xdev >/dev/null
    blktrace done
    using tracefile ./find.trace
    saving graph to find.svg

May I suggest a simple version bump in order the package is rebuilt ?
That sould fix the problem for everybody.

PS: no, I don't have anything funny in /usr/local, the test was against
vanilla Debian Python in Jessie (2.7).
