Package: mc Version: 3:4.8.11-1 Severity: serious I cannot move files in mc any more.
For example, I have the cursor on a file called x and want to move it to my home directory (the other panel does NOT show my home directory right now (but a second work dir), so I need to type it). I type F6 ~ Enter IT RENAMES THE FILE TO ‘~’! I type F6 ~ / x Enter ║/.dillo ║ ~ ╔════════════════════ Error ═════════════════════╗ ║ 617│Sep 17 2012║ ║/.dosbox ║ Target ║ Cannot create target file "/home/tglase/~/x" ║ ║ 134│Jan 6 2009║ ║/.etc ║ /home/t ║ Not a directory (20) ║ ║ 2769│Dec 30 14:00║ ║/.fonts ║ ╟────────────────────────────────────────────────╢ ║ 27│Nov 26 09:20║ ║/.gconf ║ ║ [ Skip ] [ Skip all ] [ Retry ] [ Abort ] ║ ║ 25│Dec 14 2009║ ║/.gconfd ╟──────── ╚════════════════════════════════════════════════╝ ────────╢ 1998│Dec 16 17:53║ DAFUQ!!! -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable'), (100, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.11-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/lksh Versions of packages mc depends on: ii e2fslibs 1.42.9-1 ii libc6 2.17-97 ii libglib2.0-0 2.36.4-1 ii libgpm2 1.20.4-6.1 ii libslang2 2.2.4-16 ii libssh2-1 1.4.3-2 ii mc-data 3:4.8.11-1 Versions of packages mc recommends: ii mime-support 3.54 ii perl 5.18.1-5 ii unzip 6.0-10 Versions of packages mc suggests: ii arj 3.10.22-11 ii bzip2 1.0.6-5 pn dbview <none> ii djvulibre-bin 3.5.25.4-2 ii file 1:5.14-2 ii genisoimage 9:1.1.11-2 ii gv [pdf-viewer] 1:3.7.4-1 ii imagemagick 8:6.7.7.10-7 ii mupdf [pdf-viewer] 1.3-1 pn odt2txt <none> ii okular [pdf-viewer] 4:4.11.3-1+b1 ii poppler-utils 0.18.4-10 ii python 2.7.5-5 pn python-boto <none> pn python-tz <none> ii texlive-binaries 2013.20130729.30972-2+b1 ii w3m 0.5.3-13 ii zip 3.0-8 -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-rc-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
