Hi *, binNMUing src:openssh locally, against the new OpenSSL, fixes the problem. The problem with binNMUs is that you cannot guarantee that the new OpenSSL is already used for the build (nothing in the buildd network can give that guarantee, not even when OpenSSL has already been built for that particular arch).
So I *still* think this is a bug somewhere: minor updates of OpenSSL should not, no, must not make programs using it unusable. bye, //mirabilos -- tarent solutions GmbH Rochusstraße 2-4, D-53123 Bonn • http://www.tarent.de/ Tel: +49 228 54881-393 • Fax: +49 228 54881-314 HRB 5168 (AG Bonn) • USt-ID (VAT): DE122264941 Geschäftsführer: Boris Esser, Sebastian Mancke -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-rc-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
