Hi David, apologies that we took so long to respond.
The same actually occurs for LCMAPS and all our globus-depending tools.
The problem is not so much the dependency itself but the new multiarch.
One of the globus headers is no longer found.
The easiest workaround for the time being is to add a dependency on
pkg-config, which is what we will do first. We are busy fixing it also
in configure itself.
