Please just disable hal support and drop /usr/share/hal/fdi/information/20thirdparty/31-apple-mobile-device.fdi
hal is completely broken nowadays and it doesn't make sense pretending this file is useful. -- Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?
