Dear Maintainer,

gdm3 3.8.4 in Debian sid appears to be broken. The login screen will
start and present a list of users. Clicking on a user will show the
password entry field and you can type a password into it. However
subsequently clicking the Sign In button or pressing Return simply
causes the Sign In button to be grayed out and no further action is taken.
