Package: gnupg2 Version: 2.0.21-2~deb7u1 Severity: serious Justification: fails to build from source (but built successfully in the past)
The package has a Build-Conflicts on automake (>= 1.12), which only happens to work on sid due to automake1.11 being a package in its own right. When rebuilding gnupg2 on wheezy for a private backport, automake1.11 is provided by the automake package, which is 1:1.11.6-1 and makes the build fail. Adding the epoch to the Build-Conflicts line fixes the build, and I think is what was originally intended: Build-Conflicts: automake (>= 1:1.12) Regards, Chris -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.1 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.10.12-0.bootc.1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages gnupg2 depends on: ii dpkg 1.16.10 ii gnupg-agent 2.0.21-2~deb7u1 ii install-info 4.13a.dfsg.1-10 ii libassuan0 2.0.3-1 ii libbz2-1.0 1.0.6-4 ii libc6 2.13-38 ii libcurl3-gnutls 7.26.0-1+wheezy3 ii libgcrypt11 1.5.0-5+deb7u1 ii libgpg-error0 1.12-0.2~deb7u1 ii libksba8 1.2.0-2 ii libreadline6 6.2+dfsg-0.1 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.7.dfsg-13 Versions of packages gnupg2 recommends: ii libldap-2.4-2 2.4.31-1+nmu2 Versions of packages gnupg2 suggests: pn gnupg-doc <none> pn xloadimage <none> -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-rc-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
