You're welcome. Just one more question or at least a reconfirmation: Does that mean, it's ok to move it to unstable directly instead of letting it wait for 10 days? (I'd appreciate an explicit OK for the direct upload to unstable. A short "ok" or "go on" is fine. :-) > I should also scratch over and have the package moved on to include the > latest glark version (they changed from regular .tar.gz installation > package to ruby-gems some versions ago, thats the reason for the old > version in debian ... ) Out of curiosity I tried to see how far gem2deb comes with creating a new package from scratch. I get test suite failures due to some files under test/glark not being in the load path or such. Managed to get rid of them with "export RUBYLIB=$(shell echo "test:$$RUBYLIB" | sed -e 's/:$$//')" in debian/rules. Not sure if there's an more elegant way. But then I get "/usr/lib/ruby/1.9.1/rubygems/custom_require.rb:36:in `require': cannot load such file -- logue/log (LoadError)" which looks as if some gem is missing. One which is not yet in Debian and hasn't an RFP or ITP yet.
