This now breaks MediaWiki under Apache 2.4.
This is RC. I’ll fix this as part of the next upload,
if possible.

Thank you

mediawiki.conf can be moved to conf-enabled/
We can do that.

but there is still a permission problem after.
Which one?

If I remember correctly:
Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /mediawiki/ on this server.

which I worked around by adding the following to 000-default.conf:
<Directory "/var/lib/mediawiki/">
Options All
AllowOverride All
Require all granted
</Directory>

after finding
http://serverfault.com/questions/405088/apache-2-and-phpmyadmin-on-virtualhost-on-custom-port-you-dont-have-permission
I am not sure my problem wasn't caused by configuration, but the Debian install
is just a few months old and the only thing I do with it is tests.

I actually run my installations without mediawiki.conf
so I do not normally run into it.

Actually… I’ve just put the symlink back:

lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 26 Sep  4 17:11 /etc/apache2/conf.d/mediawiki.conf ->
/etc/mediawiki/apache.conf

It’s still all working for me. (I do run this as part of
an Evolvis/FusionForge installation.)

bye,
//mirabilos
