Hi, You are right, this is due to lack of "-lm" at linking of "SDL_rotozoom.o".
Just wonder, why it was working earlier. Anyway, it will be fixed ASAP, in "INSTEAD 1.9.1" package. Here is a patch I've written patch for this: http://gitorious.org/instead-debian-packets/instead-debian-packets/commit/dbd25fcbba9ef11b534d63721b1c0c8da43139be . It's still a hack, but do the trick for us.
I'll try to ask Peter Kosyh (INSTEAD's author) to fix this in upstream (in next version).
