Package: clive
Severity: important
Tags: jessie sid
I would like to get rid of clive during the jessie release cycle. It is
only maintained upstream and cclive is recommended instead. Both support
the same sites as they rely on libquvi, but there are a few differences
in the command-line interface.
My current idea is to replace clive with a transition package that
depends on cclive and includes a clive -> cclive symlink. It should also
include a NEWS.Debian entry.
The clive package could then be removed with jessie+1.
