In fact the sh process could have come from something else. Bug 703472 or upstream bug https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=705543 is actually a more general bug. > Is it reproducible? When I did the same thing a second time, I got no problems. But if https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=705543 is the cause, it is not always reproducible. And with the particular case where some pane (proposed list of search results, menu...) is open, it is known to grab the focus (but Fvwm key sequences still work) and mouse clicks while it is open. A combination of both conditions is even more difficult to reproduce (I'll try if I have some time). Concerning the problem with the virtual terminal, I was wondering whether the switch worked, but the display didn't follow (in which case it could explain why there was no longer any apparent reaction to key presses -- I didn't try Alt-F7 to confirm); I had a similar problem in the past, but it was different since the display remained frozen also during shutdown. Here, when I killed the fvwm2 process via SSH from my phone, I got the gdm3 login again, without needing to do anything else. > You have a lot of addons. Try disabling them.
