Hello! As gnome-shell 3.8.3-1 already depends on libmutter0b (>= 3.8), libmutter0b (<< 3.9) I guess your problem was related to an experimental->experimental upgrade?
Since there's only one (working) mutter in the archive that can fulfill this dependency, I don't see how the dependency needs/can be tightened any more and I guess we can close this bug now?
