reassign 694717 udev 175-7.2 severity 694717 important retitle 694717 udevadm settle returns before /dev is fully populated thanks
Hi, I'm reassigning this to the udev package. I've the feeling that udevadm settle is not waiting that /dev is fully populated. I also have this issue (randomly) with both sysvinit and systemd. The nut-server initscript has a "Required-Start: udev" (the udev init script is calling udevadm settle) and the systemd service (nut-driver.service) has the following lines too: After=systemd-udev-settle.service Wants=systemd-udev-settle.service So if I'm not wrong the USB device should be ready when the driver is started? Please feel free to reassign it back if you think this is not related to udev.
