Package: iucode-tool
Version:  1.0-1
Severity: Serious

Hello comrades.
After updating udev to version 204-1 the iucode-tool cannot load firmware.
Because of it boot is very long.

1. udev 204-1 is not supported by Debian.

2. you could try to use a recent kernel, and configure it like this:

CONFIG_FW_LOADER=y
CONFIG_FW_LOADER_USER_HELPER=n

that *might* fix some of the issues.

3. good luck, you _will_ need it... we don't use udev 204 in Debian for a
reason.

Anyway, since this is not a bug in intel-microcode or iucode-tool, and it is
caused by an udev version that is not packaged by Debian, I am closing it.
