I disagree that versioned build-dependency on dpkg-dev is required,
and it's wrong for uploads to be rejected on that basis.
Also, please explain why a versioned dependency on python2.7 is
needed, and whether you mean build-dep or dep.
FindPythonLibs.cmake module correctly detects proper python paths and
can be hinted which version should be preferred (in case when multiple
pythons are available).
It's terrible that maintainer/upstream did not choose to use standard
cmake interface.
I just provided a minimal patch to resolve the issue.
