Package: tircd
Version: 0.21.2-2
Severity: grave
Tags: patch upstream
Justification: renders package unusable

Dear Maintainer,

Since Twitter removed the 1.0 API on June 11th, tircd
is no longer useful. The daemon receives connections
but the user only gets errors.

Fortunately, a patch is available. Although not from
official upstream, somebody already made it work again
and pushed it to his personal repo.

The patch is at the upstream bug report at
 * https://code.google.com/p/tircd/issues/detail?id=106#c7

I can confirm the patch works.

There is no official release yet with the changes.
