Package: libjpeg8-turbo-dev
Version: 1.2.90-1
Severity: serious

libjpeg8-turbo-dev Provides libjpeg-dev. That is wrong. And broken.
Only one package gets to Provide that virtual package name, and right
now that is libjpeg8-dev. Please fix this ASAP (and probably remove
libjpeg8-dev while you're at it, because that seems wrong as well).

Thanks,
Julien

fixed #710654 1.2.90-2
thanks

Hi Julien,

please note that all libjpeg compat bin:packages are not built in libjpeg-turbo
1.2.90-2 and later.

Atm. I will only re-activate those if we will reach a consensus via d-devel (or
elsewhere equivalently) on how to proceed with libjpeg and libjpeg-turbo
(transition to turbo, co-existence of both, remaining with IJG libjpeg as
default).

Greets,
Mike
