Package: singular
Version: 3-0-4-3.dfsg-3
Severity: serious
User: debian...@lists.debian.org
Usertags: proposed-removal

singular seems like a possible candidate for removal from Debian:

* library with no reverse dependencies
* no maintainer upload since 2009
* no maintainer response to an RC bug for several months
* assorted linking problems (see the patches from Mònica's attempted NMU)

If you don't think this package is needed any more, please send the
following commands to cont...@bugs.debian.org, replacing nnnnnn with this
bug's number:

severity nnnnnn normal
reassign nnnnnn ftp.debian.org
retitle nnnnnn RM: <packagename> -- RoM; <reasons>
thanks

Alternatively, please keep up with fixing it.
