reopen 704251 severity 704251 normal thanks The bug exists really. You just need to have a look at fp-compiler.postinst and will see that the case user choice is not taken into account. Of course it happens that in current version update-alternatives will just issue a warning and returns with 0 as exit code, but this does mean the bug does not exist only by chance. Maybe we can leave with this for wheezy, but should be fixed the correct way anyway.
